HP Slate




When Steve Balmer showed off this tablet during his CES keynote he didn’t give too many specifics beyond the OS (Windows 7) – no size, price, specs, ship date, or even a proper name. But HP has since released a few details. The tablet will be called Slate, it will include 3G connectivity, and according to reports will cost less than $630 (the price of the comparable iPad version). The price and fully-fledged OS give it a leg up on the iPad, but we’ve yet to see a software experience that matches what Apple offers.
